Tony Flattum

Tony started roofing in production in 2002, but quickly realized the potential to jump to sales and never looked back. By 2006, Tony, like many of us, wanted to create better opportunities for employees, and started his own company. From door-knocking to roof production to bookkeeping and final collections, Tony has performed every part of a roofing business himself. Building roofing and construction businesses across Illinois, Connecticut, Texas, Colorado, Phoenix, Wisconsin and Minnesota, Tony has acquired a nearly immeasurable set of experience.Â
Throughout his career, Flattum has emphasized honesty, respect, and integrity, focusing on fostering employee ownership and team buy-in to drive company growth. His commitment to customer satisfaction and ethical business practices has established him as a trusted expert in both the restoration and real estate industries.Â
Tony’s business today, Built Strong Exteriors, sells more than $60M a year. When he's not scaling roofing or real estate companies you'll find him spending time with his wife, 3 kids, on a back country snow mobile, boating and/or watching the greatest football team on planet earth: The Minnesota Vikings... according to him.

Dante Sabel

With over 15 years in the roofing industry, I've had the honor of working with some of the biggest names in the business. I've gained a wealth of experience in both retail and insurance restoration, and today I'm proud to own my own Commercial Retail Roofing Company and to have founded Illinois Roofing Institute! Personally, I love fishing, boating, and mostly traveling with my amazing wife – experiencing all kinds of new foods and events. And, also personally, I founded the roof CoLab for this moment – the one where you decide to start or grow your business. Taking those first steps are intimidating and many don't know where to go but I feel like our lessons help make this new world of possibilities less intimidating and help show you what the roofing industry offers. I promise you this isn’t just a job. We cannot wait to see you thrive!

Ty Adams

Ty Adams is a talented and seasoned construction executive with over two decades of experience. He brings a wealth of expertise in areas such as sales and operations staff development, contract acquisition, aggressive revenue growth, profit and loss reporting, cash flow management, systems design and implementation, workflow efficiencies, market expansion, exit strategy positioning and insurance carrier interaction – all acquired by his deep expertise in the complexities of running a construction business in the insurance claims space. With an abundance of business ownership and senior leadership experience, Ty has a strong understanding of how to run a profitable roofing business and handle the unique challenges associated with this sector of construction. Ty, a huge Minnesota Vikings fan is an avid fitness junkie and loves spending his free time with his wife and three children.

Wade Tutt

Wade Tutt has over 25 years in the construction industry. He started his career selling building materials and then developed a passion in blueprint takeoffs and estimating. Wade has served as an estimator, consultant and project manager with a team that built thousands of residential and commercial buildings. As the former owner of a large loss claims and construction consulting company he has a vast knowledge of construction, sales and insurance policy coverage application. Currently Wade is the CEO of a 78+ year-old specialty roofing and historic restoration company in Chicago. In his off time he loves spending time with my amazing wife and daughter Andi. Unfortunately Wade is an avid Chicago sports fan and really enjoys Formula One Racing.
